Card Catalogs

Media Center Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Student Circulation Policy: Typically 2 books for 2-week time period with 2 renewals allowed (exceptions may apply)


Partially Flexible Class Schedule
Students visit the Media Center 2 times per month with their ELA classes or as scheduled with their content area teachers.


We do not charge late fees, but students will be charged for lost books at the end of the school year.  If a student has overdue books, a list will be sent home at the end of every quarter.

MEET MRS. PHIILBECK

Mrs. Philbeck is a native South Carolinian who now resides in Mt. Pleasant.  As a parent to four children in the Charleston School District school system, elementary to high school, Mrs. Philbeck models lifelong learning and is earning her Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the University of South Carolina.  With an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from USC, a certificate in Paralegal Studies from the Columbia Junior College School of Paralegal Studies, and 15 years as a paralegal before seeking her graduate degree, Mrs. Philbeck believes passionately in always the pursuit of excellence through education, the ability to consistently improve oneself, and the capacity to overcome any obstacle with persistence, positive attitude, and faith.  Most recently, Mrs. Philbeck served CCSD as the media clerk of Laing Middle School of Science & Technology for three years.
