Welcome to a class where we connect the real world to our learning experience. I’m Ms. Gaillard.

This 2017-2018 school year will be my 11th year of teaching. Through my experiences, I've had the opportunity to teach and be an interventionist for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 6th-12th grades. However, the majority of my experience, 9 years, has been on Simmons-Pinckney/Burke Campus as an eighth grade science teacher, reading and math interventionist, algebra and geometry teacher.

I believe that my father has played a major part in my passion for teaching math because it has become my most favorite subject.

I graduated from Saint Augustine’s College (University), Raleigh, NC.

I am very active in my community. I attend New Israel R.E. Church and serve in the following capacities: minister of music, Sunday School teacher, the missionaries, and the chancel guild. I also volunteer on other committees when needed. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Romney Urban Garden (R.U.G.). I also assist with the athletic department and Burke High School marching band.

My hobbies include: reading, traveling, singing, mentoring, spending time with loved ones, and playing the piano.
