Ms. Huggins

Ms. Huggins loves Art.  She enjoys creating her own artwork, viewing other artists work, and teaching Art to young people. Not only does she take pleasure in sharing her knowledge about art history and the process of making art, but she wants her students to experience art and understand how much it affects their lives.

This year will be Ms. Huggins 8th year of teaching. She has taught in both Georgetown and Spartanburg, South Carolina. Currently she splits her time teaching at James Simons Elementary and Simmons-Pinckney in Charleston, South Carolina.

Ms. Huggins is a Savannah College of Art and Design graduate who received her B.F.A. in Fashion Design. In May 2010, she completed her Masters in Art Education at Coastal Carolina University.

In her free time she likes to travel, bike, and cook, participate in yoga, and watercolor paint.  While she is outdoors, she loves to take lots of pictures. Her love of nature inspires her own artwork.  Nature and music are her main sources of inspiration.
